The Soul of All Living Creatures

Dr. Virga’s first book, The Soul of All Living Creatures, will be published by Broadway Books [Random House] in July 2013. The Soul of All Living Creatures explores our human relationship with animals – in our homes, zoos, and in the natural world. Recalling stories of animals and people from Dr. Virga’s past twenty years in veterinary practice, The Soul of All Living Creatures explores lessons from animal behavior and human-animal interrelationships to reveal key principles about human relationships, communication, and spirituality. At once insightful, empathic, and provocative, The Soul of All Living Creatures illuminates basic traits that humans and animals share which are crucial in nurturing ourselves and our relationship with others.

Dr. Virga is currently working on his second book, Touched by the Spirit of Creatures.
